Christmas is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to start baking! The holidays are the time of year when we love to bake delicious treats for our friends and family. If you’re looking for a way to make your holiday baking easier, consider setting up a Christmas baking station in your kitchen.

This post will show you how to do it and provide some great products that will help make your Christmas treats look beautiful. With a baking station, you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips and you’ll be able to bake all of your favorite Christmas treats with ease!

Plus, putting together a baking station isn’t hard. With a little planning, you can have the perfect baking station ready to go in no time!

What is a Christmas baking station?

A Christmas baking station is a designated area set up specifically for baking. It includes all of the ingredients, tools, and supplies you need to make your favorite Christmas treats. The station should be convenient and easy to access, and it should keep everything organized while you’re baking.

You can set up your baking station on a rolling cart, a shelf in your pantry, or a spare counter in your kitchen – wherever you have space that is convenient.

How to Create a Christmas Baking Station

Creating a baking station in your house isn’t too hard. You mostly just have to find the space and get some supplies.

You can keep a baking station year-round, or just for the Christmas season. If you have spare shelves in your kitchen pantry, you could leave it up all year and just add certain Christmas-themed products around the holidays to help with those Christmas baked goods. It’s up to you!

Here’s how you can create a baking station in your home.

1. Choose a Location

Select an area in your kitchen that is close to where you’re usually cooking or baking. You don’t want your baking supplies to be in the way, so make sure it’s an area of your kitchen that is convenient but not in the way.

You could also use a rolling cart that you store in the pantry or somewhere out of the way and then pull it out when you’re baking. That’s a great way to save space in your kitchen while still having a pretty baking station.

2. Get Supplies

Chances are you won’t need to get too many items for your station. If you already make a lot of baked goodies and food, then you probably already have all the things you need on hand!

One big aspect of creating a baking area in your kitchen is to get containers that match. I love having containers and canisters that all look pretty together. You don’t have to get a set, but getting things that are all the same color or all clear can go a long way in making your kitchen look put together.

MY FAVES

Things You’ll Need for Your Baking Center

I like to keep baking items on my station that I use a lot. For example: flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda or powder, salt, etc. Of course, some items will be kept in the refrigerator, freezer, or pantry, but bring ingredients you use often and add them to your station throughout the holiday baking season.

Add things that make sense for your baked goods, like frosting if you make a lot of sugar cookies. Sort and organize the items in your baking center so you can see everything clearly and easily find what you’re looking for at just a glance.

There are also lots of products out there that can help you organize your baking station and make it look beautiful, such as:

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking pans
  • Portable stand mixers
  • Cake turntables
  • Cookie Cutters
  • Canisters to store ingredients
  • Ingredient labels

Here are a few of my favorites that can be used year-round.

This clear glass jar with a lid is perfect for flour. If you make lots of pies, cookies, or cakes, you know you need lots of flour. This jar can hold two gallons!

These gold scoops make me so happy. I bought them for my clear containers (for sugar, flour, etc.) and they look so pretty all year long, but the gold looks especially festive around the holidays!

A rolling pin is absolutely necessary when it comes to making cookies and pies, and this adjustable rolling pin allows you to easily customize the exact thickness of your cookies and other treats. I love it!

TOOLS YOU’LL NEED

Christmas-Themed Baking Items

If you’re looking for holiday-specific baking supplies, you can find lots online or in stores nearby. One item that I find particularly helpful during the holiday season is a set of Christmas cookie cutters!

Christmas-shaped cookies are the perfect gift for neighbors and friends, or to send with your kids for their teachers and classmates.

This 15-piece set has all the classics, including Rudolph, a gingerbread man, and snow.

I love how this set has a Christmas sweater and hat so you can add fun knit patterns and colors with your frosting.

Other Christmas-Themed Baking Items

This cookbook is perfect for you if you need new recipes or ideas for baked goods. It includes bread, cakes, cookies, candies, and more.

This mini pie maker mold will give you the most adorable mitten, snowflake, and Christmas tree pies you’ve ever seen. I’m obsessed with them.

TOOLS YOU’LL NEED

You’ll love your Christmas baking station!

Making a baking station isn’t hard, it just requires a little thought and effort. You could easily whip up a station in one morning and be ready to go!

If you make a lot of treats and goodies during the holiday season, consider making a station to streamline the process. It will definitely make your life easier.

Happy baking!

If you don’t have a silicone food-safe baking mat yet, I recommend this one. I find that it makes it so much easier to get baked goods off the pan and you don’t have to use up all your foil or parchment paper anymore!
